Junior & Adult Lessons Postponed One Week Until Monday, Nov 16th. Session will be Extended
The University has made a decision to postpone the Group Lessons that were scheduled to begin tonight, Nov 9th, for one week until Monday, the 16th, and extend the Session one more week in January if you wanted to make-up a date or class planned for this week.
It has come to our attention that some student-athletes located on campus have tested positive in their COVID 19 results. Although we are located a mile away, we wanted to be proactive in protecting the facility and protecting you, until we can safely test our tennis coaches (Who are student-athletes themselves) and know they are completely cleared to coach without risking their own or your health as a member of this tennis community. We felt it would be the safest and best option, especially since I am planning to go out of town this week with my wife and was planning to have student athletes run the classes on their own while I was gone.
I was cleared this morning via a routine COVID test, so private lessons are still on for today, tomorrow, and Wednesday morning while I am still in town.
We apologize for the inconvenience this may have caused. Your family's health and safety is our top priority, and we want to be proactive in this matter. Feel free to reach out to me with any questions about rescheduling your lessons. Please see the info below
Here is the plan moving forward: We will begin this Fall #2 Session next Monday, the 16th, and allow one week in January in our Winter Session if someone wants to make up a class. This will allow our student athletes to be tested before they resume coaching, and we can know for sure if they are cleared to help.
If you would like to make up an individual class, simply let me know the day you'd like to attend. If you are doing a group package, let me know the dates you'd like to begin!
Again, we apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused, and feel free to follow up with any more information or questions, as I am happy to help.
